Omniboost to Fortnox | Error 2001381: Saknar rättighet för att använda verifikationer.

This article explains the meaning of the error message you may encounter within your Omniboost to Fortnox integration, outlines what causes it, and walks you through the steps to resolve it.

Within your Omniboost to Fortnox integration, whether that is Trivec to Fortnox or Mews to Fortnox, you may have encountered the following error message:

Error: 2001381: Saknar rättighet för att använda verifikationer.

Translated to English, this means: "Missing permission to use vouchers." This error indicates that the Fortnox user account used to connect your integration does not have the correct permissions enabled to allow Omniboost to post accounting entries to Fortnox.

The user account that was used when setting up or reconnecting the integration must have the following permissions active within Fortnox:

  • Verifikationer: Allows the user to access vouchers within the Fortnox accounting module.

  • Bokför: Allows the user to create and post voucher entries. This permission is required for all integrations.

Both permissions are part of the Bokföring (Accounting) licence in Fortnox. If the user account does not hold an active Bokföring licence, these permissions cannot be granted and a different user with the correct licence will need to reconnect the integration.

If you are unsure which user was used to connect the integration or which permissions apply to your setup, please reach out to your designated Omniboost agent and they will be able to advise.

How to check and update the required permissions

To resolve this error, navigate to Administration → Administrera användare (Manage Users). From the user list, locate the user account that was used to connect the integration and click the Bokföring (Accounting) icon next to their name. Ensure that both Verifikationer (Vouchers) and Bokför are enabled. If either is turned off, enable it and save your changes.

Reconnecting Fortnox in Base

After updating the permissions, the final step is to reconnect your Fortnox account within Base. To do this, navigate to your Base onboarding and follow the steps to reconnect Fortnox. Make sure to complete this step using the Fortnox user account that has the correct permissions. Once completed, the error message should be fully resolved.

Depending on which phase your integration is in, your integration will either resume as expected or we will be able to continue with the onboarding process. Please make sure to notify your Omniboost agent once you have completed these steps, particularly if your integration is still in the testing phase.

If you have any further questions, need assistance with any of the steps outlined in this article, or are unsure whether your integration is set up correctly after completing these steps, please do not hesitate to reach out to your designated Omniboost agent.

Alternatively, you can contact our support team directly at support@omniboost.io and we will be happy to help.
