What does the integration do?
Our integration pulls all new guest profiles from Mews on a daily basis and sends them directly to MailChimp. This means all new guests are automatically added to your MailChimp audience without any manual work.
When a guest makes a reservation, they must confirm whether they want to receive marketing emails. Mews stores this in the guest profile. Our integration checks this setting and only pushes guests to MailChimp if “Receive marketing email” is enabled. This way, only guests who have given consent will appear in your MailChimp audience.
By using Omniboost in combination with MailChimp you will save time and, more importantly, improve the customer data quality.
Please note: Only customer profiles with the option “send marketing emails” enabled will be added to your Mailchimp environment. Also, email address in the profile of the guest in Mews is required. Our integration will not pull contacts that have no email address assigned.

Q: “How does the integration handle guests who subscribed via website forms or other external sources?”
A: Not, the integration between Mews and Mailchimp only works with contact and reservation data from Mews.
Q: “How does the integration handle guests who previously subscribed but forget to enable “Receive marketing email” during a later booking?”
A: The integration will always update a profile in Mailchimp with the latest data available in Mews to prevent duplicates and to keep the data up to date and correct.
Q: "What is the maximum number of fields you can sync between MEWS & Mailchimp"
A: Mailchimp allows a maximum of 30 fields per audience. Please note that the standard field ‘email’ is also included in these 30 fields.
