This guide outlines the steps to (re)configure your Room Charge button for our Lightspeed K-Series integrations with your PMS system. Once configured correctly, you will be able to execute Room Charges using the solution we provide.

Lightspeed Back Office:
To initiate the process of fixing or configuring the room charge button within the Lightspeed back office, please visit the following link for Lightspeed K-Series and log in using your Lightspeed credentials.
Once logged in, navigate to Configurations > Settings and select Payment Methods. You will be directed to a page displaying all of your payment methods from Lightspeed.
Identifying the Correct Room Charge Payment Method
To proceed, navigate to the section displaying all available payment methods. Look for the room charge payment option, which is easily identifiable by the code ‘IKPMS’. This code serves as a quick reference to ensure you select the correct payment method.
Once you locate the ‘IKPMS’ option, click on it to continue to the next step in the payment process.
Configuring Your Room Charge Button
In this section, you can customize the settings for your room charge button. Modify the name and toggle options, including the ability to add tips to room charges. It is crucial to select Other in the PMS Server dropdown menu and ensure that the payment method type is set to “Charge to room.”
After completing these configurations, make sure to scroll down and save your changes. Your integration should now be activated and/or corrected.
