Introduction

The Opera PMS to Xero integration by Omniboost automates the transfer of financial data from Oracle Opera PMS into Xero. This solution simplifies your hotel's accounting processes and ensures accurate financial entries.

Supported versions of Oracle Opera PMS are:

  • Opera Cloud PMS

  • Opera On-Prem PMS (V5 or higher)

Opera PMS to Xero | Integration Overview

This Omniboost integration automates the flow of financial data between Opera PMS and Xero. The integration saves your accounting team valuable time as it eliminates the need for manual data entry. Additionally, the integration improves the reconciliation of financial numbers as financial journals will get automatically- and accurately posted in your Xero system. This solution means that manual data errors become a problem of the past.

Onboarding Process

The steps involved in connecting Oracle Opera to your Xero environment are outlined below.

  • (1) Request the Xero connection and plan your kick-off meeting with Omniboost.

  • (2) Omniboost provides you with credentials for your self-onboarding environment, OmniBASE.

  • (3) Complete your self-onboarding process in OmniBASE.

  • (4) Enable the relevant Opera report(s) with the assistance of Omniboost.

  • (5) Omniboost configures the accounting connection.

  • (6) Omniboost sends test financial journals to your Xero environment.

  • (7) The hotel’s accounting team validates the test financial journals.

    • Omniboost is able to assist where necessary.

  • (8) Omniboost activates the Opera to Xero accounting connection.

    • This kicks-off the daily financial journal send to Xero.

The Omniboost Onboarding Team will support you throughout the entire onboarding process. After activation, the Omniboost Support Team will ensure ongoing quality control and maintenance of the Opera to Xero accounting connection to guarantee a smooth and reliable daily journal transfer.
