What does the Lightspeed R-Series POS - Stayntouch PMS integration do?

This integration enables you to:

  • Look up active (checked-in) Stayntouch customers directly your Lightspeed Retail interface

  • Post Lightspeed Retail charges directly to the customer folio in Stayntouch

REQUESTING A NEW CONNECTION

How do I request a new LSR โ€“ Stayntouch connection?

Please inform your Stayntouch representative that you would like to connect to your LSR and SNT environments. The SNT team will then generate necessary API credentials and share that information with the Omniboost team. The Omniboost team will prepare your new integration profile in the Omniboost onboarding platform. You will receive an email with your new onboarding profile credentials. Before starting the onboarding process, please make sure to review and complete all points outlined in the next step below.

BEFORE ONBOARDING

What do I have to do before I can start the onboarding process?

Lightspeed R-Series: Please make sure that your Lightspeed R-Series environment is set up to support a room charge payment type. More information about configuring your Lightspeed R-Series environments is available here in this Lightspeed Help Section.

StayNTouch: No action needed in StayNTouch

ONBOARDING

What can I expect from the onboarding process?

Once the Stayntouch team has processed your request and shared the API credentials with Omniboost, the Omniboost team will prepare your new integration profile in the Omniboost onboarding platform. You will receive an email with your new onboarding profile credentials.

Please use those credentials to log in and complete all of the questions in the integration onboarding form. Please note that one of the onboarding steps will be to connect to your Lightspeed Retail environment. This step only provides the Omniboost team with the necessary API credentials for the connection. Omniboost will not be able to access your Lightspeed environment in any other way.

I've completed the onboarding form, now what?

Once you fill out all of the required fields in your integration form, the Omniboost onboarding team will be notified. The information you've provided will be used to set up your new connection.

TESTING AND GO-LIVE

When will my new integration be ready to use?

Once your new integration is ready, you will be able to test the connection by looking up Stayntouchclients directly in your Lightspeed UI and posting charges to their Stayntouchfolio. If there are any issues during the testing or anytime throughout the lifetime of the integration, please reach out to pos-support@omniboost.io.
